Nigmaya Complete Bedding Set

Inmiddels nu een tijdje gebruik mogen maken van dit linnengoed en mijn partner en ik zijn er super content mee!
Het linnen is onwijs mooi en chique verpakt in mooie tasjes. De kleur wit is ook heel mooi en staat goed in elke slaapkamer. Het heeft een zachte uitstraling wat ervoor zorgt dat je er graag onder wilt liggen.
De kwaliteit van de linnen is heel erg hoog. Het voelt onwijs zacht als je eronder ligt, zelfs met dit warme weer voelt het verkoelend aan. Wat heel handig is dat je de hoeken van het dekbed kunt vastknopen in de hoeken van de dekbedhoes, heel makkelijke doch slimme truc!
Het wassen van dit linnen moet wel met enige voorzichtigheid gedaan worden; je kunt het niet warmer dan 40 graden wassen en ik zou het ook niet drogen! Uithangen dus.
Al met al zeer tevreden over dit product, lang getwijfeld om het aan te schaffen maar hier krijg je geen spijt van. Je ligt er dan ook elke nacht in waardoor dit een uitgave is waar je maximaal plezier aan beleefd.

I recently had the pleasure of testing Nigmaya’s Egyptian cotton bedding set in collaboration with ReviewClub. The set includes four pillowcases (60 cm × 70 cm), a fitted bottom sheet (160 cm × 200 cm) designed for a double bed, and a duvet cover (240 cm × 220 cm) suitable for oversized double duvets.

The duvet cover truly lives up to its heavenly reputation. Even after multiple washes, it remains incredibly soft. So soft, in fact, that it reminds me of the high-quality linens typically found in premium hotels. This level of comfort is hard to come by, making it a delightful experience when you slip into bed at night. For the ones as lazy as myself, the bedding feels soft even when wringly like in the picture.

The fitted bottom sheet is another highlight. Its size is just right, and it stays securely in place better than many of the other sheets I’ve used. This greatly enhances the overall neatness and comfort of the sleeping area, ensuring a consistently pleasant sleep experience.
One potential downside relates to the duvet cover’s sizing. While it works wonderfully with oversized double duvets like the one we use, most double duvets sold in Finland measure 220 cm × 200 cm. This discrepancy means that the set might not be a perfect fit for everyone, particularly those with standard-sized duvets.

The pillowcases deserve special mention as well. At 60 cm × 70 cm, they are noticeably larger than the typical Finnish pillow dimensions (50 cm × 60 cm). While some might appreciate a looser, more relaxed look with slightly extra fabric at the borders, I personally prefer a snug, neatly fitted feel. This discrepancy in size remains a matter of personal taste and may vary from one user to another.

Another point to consider is the color. The all-white design exudes a clean and elegant look, but it also has its drawbacks. At home, where the linens aren’t changed as frequently as in hotels, any mark, like a dog’s paw print (and yes, our beloved dogs are cherished family members and sleep in our bed), is quickly visible. I would love to see this high-quality bedding available in other colors and with pillowcases better suited to the standard Finnish sizes. If that were the case, I might consider buying multiple sets rather than reserving this one for special occasions like Christmas and Midsummer.

In summary, Nigmaya’s Egyptian cotton bedding set delivers exceptional softness and comfort, with thoughtful details like a secure bottom sheet. However, its oversized pillowcases and the limitations of a strict white color may not suit every household's needs. Despite these minor issues, this set makes for an indulgent treat on special nights where comfort is paramount.

Dit beddengoed vinden we erg fijn omdat het goed aanvoelt. Je ervaart luxe kwaliteit wat je in de betere hotels mag verwachten. We hebben het gewassen en het blijft mooi. De kleur is erg wit en dat kleurt iets minder bij onze slaapkamer die gebroken wit geverfd is. Maar het slaapt geweldig. En de sluiting bij bij het voeteneind is ook prettig. Deze valt met knopen helemaal weg.

Ik heb het Nigmaya beddengoed ontvangen met korting om te testen en tot nu toe ben ik er erg blij mee. Het katoen voelt zacht aan en ik en mijn vriendin slapen er heerlijk onder.

De verpakking zag er ook goed uit, zelfs met een katoenbloem er bij. Het zat in twee mooie zakken met een gouden lint en logo. Alles kwam netjes aan en voelde kwalitatief goed.

Ik heb het beddengoed nog niet gewassen, dus daar kan ik nog niets over zeggen. Maar het ligt mooi strak op het bed en blijft goed op zijn plek dordat je je laken aan de binnenkant vast kunt binden... De kleur is wit.

Hotelkwalitiet ;) Echt een fijne eerste indruk.

I purchased the Nigmaya Complete Bedding Set in 100% Egyptian cotton and I'm absolutely thrilled! The fabric is extremely soft and has a fine texture that feels pleasantly cool—perfect for the hot summer nights ahead. Although the selection of sizes and colors is limited, I was only able to choose the set in white, which I didn't quite like. I would perhaps like a larger color and pattern palette, as well as a more suitable size selection for a wide range of mattress and duvet sizes, but the set's ease of care still makes up for it. I wash the bed linens on the silk cycle and let them air dry, which naturally makes handling a breeze.

The packaging in sustainable silk bags with a gold ribbon and gold lettering is another highlight. They not only ensure a stylish presentation but also allow for easy and tidy storage in the closet. The best part, of course, is that I don't have to iron the bed linens, which saves me a lot of time. The quality of the Nigmaya bedding set is simply outstanding and ideal for upscale sleepovers. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxurious yet easy-care bedding!
